Style 300 SBR Binder

Manufactured from synthetic fibers and a SBR binder, and vulcanized to provide
maximum strength and yield characteristics, this sheet is favored where color
contamination of the product must be avoided. The maximum temperature limit is
750°F and 399°C. Style 300 withstands pressures up to 1200 psi. It is recommended
for all food handling and process equipment conveying products which must be
kept uncontaminated from graphite and other discolorants. Style 300 services water,
steam, mild chemicals, and inert gases.

The pressure/temperature graphs shown are the most current method of

determining the suitability of a gasket material in a known environment. Use the
pressure and temperature graphs to select the most suitable material for your
application.

1. In area one, the gasket material is suitable using common installation

practices subject to chemical compatibility.
2. In area two, appropriate measures are necessary for installation of the gasket
to ensure maximum performance. Please call SEPCO USA for assistance.
3. In area three, do not install gaskets in these applications without first
contacting SEPCO USA's technical support service.
