 BACKGROUND
One-the-job training (PKL) is a form of organizing education and training
activities by working directly. PKL is carried out to introduce the world of
workers and is expected to apply the knowledge gained, as well as to
be practiced by PKL participants in the world of work.
Of the many workshops I have been accepted to do street vendors at
exclusive auto garage workshops, even though this workshop is not
official, the knowledge we get is certainly the same as official workshops.
The owner of the exclusive auto garage workshop is Mr. Adit Deandra
who is very kind and friendly, like a mechanic who always teaches or
tells him to do work clearly and patiently.
 PURPOSE
1. Getting work experience and skills in the workshop
2. Getting score as a requirement graduation
3. Get a certificate of working experience in a workshop
4. Making students more independent
 SCOOPE PLACE AND DATE

◦ the scope of job training are ◦ Job training will be held from
the workshop head, April 14 to June 14 2022 at an
mechanics, sparepart shop, exclusive auto garage
musholla and customer
 RESULT OF JOB TRAINING

◦ First week
◦ Mechanics teach and introduce tools. And they taught us how to properly and safely
remove and install tires, we were also told to scrub the spark plugs

◦ Second week
◦ I was taught light services such as replacing worn out brake pads, scrubbing burnt
spark plugs, changing oil that has been used for 10,000km
◦ Third week
◦ Eid holiday
 RESULT OF JOB TRAINING

◦ Fourth week
We were taught to understand car buttons such as wipers, turn signals, hazard lights, headlights
and we were taught to install brake lights and night lights
Fifth week
We change the air filter,replace the tires,check the spark plugs,fill the radiator water and battery
water and replace wiper as well

Sixth week
We are taught how to use Vernier Calipers and Other Measuring Instrument.we also measure
the thickness of the brake pads,and replace the shoes brake.
 RESULT OF JOB TRAINING

◦ Seventh week
Replace the coil and the plugs as well,fill the gas tank cleaner,fill the transmission oil and
differential oil,and replace the oil filter as well

Eighth week.
We help mechanics unload and disassemble engine cylinders

◦ Nineth week
We were taught engine parts such as cylinder heads, combustion chambers, oil
reservoirs, pistons, valves, and also disassembled them for cleaning
 RESULT OF JOB TRAINING
◦ Tenth week
I cleaned the combustion chamber, piston, cylinder head, burnt cylinder with a wire brush
and diesel until clean
◦ Eleventh week
help install the cleaned cylinder parts and clean the 16 valves
Twelveth week
help raise the engine cylinder to the car and clean the workshop from the oils that come out
of the engine cylinder
Thirteenth week
light services such as changing oil, removing and installing spark plugs, opening and installing
tires and changing brake pads
 CONCLUSION AND SUGESTION
◦ The job training is very usefull
to get more experience and
knowledge.In the workshop
we learn about
discipline,independent,And
how to manage time.
◦ The workshop isn’t kept clean
even thought cleanliness can
attract More customer,the
suggestion is improve and
add more facilities at
Exclusive Auto Garage in
order to attract more
customer and also to support
comfort for customer.
