LOCAL FARMERS

In this case or issue on our country I am against on this issue because as a grandchild of a
farmer, I always see the hard work and patience of my grandparents just to have a better
crops. They have also many loans for them to give all the pesticides and give water supply
that needs of their crops, they also give their time (24/7) everyday.

I believe that local farmers should be heard at all times because they deserve everything
that they are fighting for and they are just not working for their own good or for their own
food but also for the country. Farmers are very dedicated and responsible on their work .

And according to my grandfather the price of palays (rice grains) are getting low its just
14 pesos (P 14) for one kilo,and some some of the grains are not heavy, he also said that he
has many loans and he can’t afford to pay everything in just one pay.

Local farmers are always checking on their crops and always going to their fields to see
and make sure that there is no pest that left. And I do believe that the government should help
the farmers because that is what they deserved.

Many politicians nowadays are eating their word for them to get sympathy from other
politicians. Like Cynthia Villar she should help and fight for the farmers because that is her
advocacy but as time passed as by she is not able to do her advocacy because she holds and
also belittled the local farmers.

Many farmers are hoping that Villar will helped them but they can’t see any hope right
now because as of now the price of the rice grain are getting low and many expenses are
getting high, Filipinos first income are from farming but they choose to end up with nothing.

Local farmers are our now heroes, they work hard not just for their on good but also for
the our country, they provide the main food that we eat ( rice), so we need them to protect
and help them because that is that what they need.
