Measurements of waste may be in trash bag sizes or in weight. They will classify them into RECYCLABLES,
NON-BIODEGRADABLE, and BIODEGRADABLE.

Guide Questions:

1. What are the possible ways you can minimize your household’s production of solid waste? You may

give instances and examples then elaborate.

a. Controlling the amount of waste produced daily is significant for humans, not only it serves a
practical purpose but also better for the environment. By reusing and recycling, we are
guaranteed to reduce waste drastically because most waste from one's home could be
recycled.

2. What can you say about the state of your community’s handling of solid wastes from the residents?

Is it good or not? Elaborate.

a. We think our community handles waste management fairly because they hand out possible
consequences if citizens do not follow the community's etiquette for waste management and
handling.

3. Without proper waste regulations, laws, and management, what do you think would happen to your

community? Explain.

a. The community would be disorganized. Waste would be present at every angle of the

community and trash bags are compiled everywhere.
