Summary: This paper explored the comparative study in terms of principle and
practices of Lean Six Sigma and Lean Agile in extracting the software requirements.
This paper provided a significant contribution in understanding the characteristic of
both principles in software engineering.

Sigma Methodology for Improving Software Requirement Engineering. VIS 2018, 91-102

Summary: The paper is evaluating how enhanced LSS-DMAIC framework able to


minimize the incomplete requirement challenges. The study focused on the
development of new framework which described the proposed LSS tools and
techniques that revealed the structured and systematic framework to minimize the
incomplete requirements.

4) Salleh, N. and Nohuddin, P.N, 2019. Hybrid Requirement Elicitation Techniques with Lean
Six Sigma Methodology for an Enhanced Framework. IVIC 2019 LNCS 11870, 190-201

Summary: This paper introduces a hybrid framework of RE techniques with Lean Six
Sigma method to develop quality software requirement where an industry case study
is demonstrated for validation. The result observed a significance acceptance by
business analyst even with the absence of end user at the early stage of requirement
gathering. It is shown that the data collected is based on facts and data where the
iterative cycle times improved significantly.
