“My Body – My Wealth”

ood Morning Teachers! I am presenting to you the different parts of the body, using a body
G
chart.

Let us start with the upper part of the body, the head, which is one of the main parts of our
body.

We have the eyes or “mata”. Our eyes allow us to see the people and things around us. We
can take care of our eyes by eating fruits and vegetables like carrots, and potatoes which
help make our eye sight better.

The mouth or “bunganga”. Inside our mouth, we have the tongue and the teeth. We use
these to eat, taste, and speak. We can take care of our mouth, teeth, and tongue by
brushing them regularly.

The nose or “ilong”. Our nose gives us the sense of smell. The ears or “tenga”. We use it to
hear different sounds around us.

Now we are done with the different parts of the head, let us now go to other body parts:

ur arms or “bisig” help us carry things. The shoulder, which is one of the main parts of our
O
trunk, allows our arms to move in circular motion. The stomach or “tiyan” is responsible for
digesting the food we ate. Our hands allows us to play musical instruments and to hold
things along with our fingers. Taking care of my hands is like taking care of my computer. We
should remember to keep our hands clean and dry before using it.

he thigh, leg, knee, feet, and toes are the lower parts of the body which allow us to walk,
T
run, and jump.

In order to be physically healthy, we need to exercise regularly and maintain a balanced diet.
It also helps our body to maintain strong muscles and bones.

hile doing my exercise routine, it is fun to do it with the song “Mag-exercise Tayo Tuwing
W
Umaga”. The song is about the importance of exercise.

y dream for my family is that I want them to be happy, healthy and successful in life. I
M
always pray that my parents live a long life and I pray that they achieve all their plans and
goals in life. Likewise, my dream is to finish my studies and be able to take care of my
family.

o reach my dreams, I need to take care of my body. I need to exercise regularly and eat
T
nutritious food like fruits and vegetables. I need to take a bath and brush my teeth to keep
myself clean especially during this pandemic. However, being physically fit is not enough, I
must also be mentally fit. I need to study hard and do my best in school.
astly, regarding the division of responsibility, my mom is responsible for household chores
L
and for taking care of my younger sister. My dad is responsible for managing our business.
My responsibility is to study hard and to help my mom in taking care of my baby sister, Luna.
