I. TITLE:
1ST HOMEROOM PTA MEETING OF GRADE 6-NARRA

II. LOCATION/DATE:
CABACUNGAN CENTRAL SCHOOL
GRADE 6 NARRA Room
AUGUST 26, 2022 (8:00 – 9:00) A.M. (Friday)

III. OBJECTIVE:
To orient Cabacungan CS teachers of the class schedule,
Requirements for Grade 6 Narra students, agree on sweepers
and Pintaksi schedule and to conduct the Homeroom PTA
election for S.Y. 2022-2023.

IV. RATIONALE:
PTA meeting is just one of the various activities conducted by the
Parent-Teacher Association of schools. The main role of Parent-Teacher
Associations is to build strong relationships between parents, teachers, and the
whole school community. A parent–teacher conference, parent–teacher
interview, parent–teacher night or parents' evening, is a short meeting or
conference between the parents and teachers of students to discuss a child's
progress at school and find solutions to academic or behavioral problems.

V. SUMMARY OF ACTIVITIES/ACTUAL RESULT:

The meeting started with at 8:10 in the morning with a prayer

lead by Mr. Geral Parado. The meeting were attended with 10
paredn for 16 pupils because some of them have 2 pupils in my
class. The agenda presented during the meeting were carried as
follows.
A. Orientation for the class schedule
B. Requirements of the pupils
C. Sweepers Schedule – they agreed to what day they are
available
to do the sweeping in school.
- Also agreed to have a fine of 1 box of floor
wax for every absent during his/her
sweepers schedule
D. Pintakasi Schedule – Once a month, every second Friday of
the month
Agreed a fine of 1 ream bond paper for
those who will not attend the pintakasi.
 E. Homeroom PTA Election – conducted the election for
Homeroom PTA Officers

Upon the observation of the parents with our classroom setting

they have noticed that it is quite hazardous for the students that
we have open windows since we are using the old room. They
suggested to put some screen to keep it safe from snakes and other
harmful elements. One of our parent pledges to purchase all the
need screen for all the windows of our classroom. So, the other
parents have decided to contribute on the woods needed for the
frame of the screen. They have agreed to contribute Php 80.00
pesos per parent for 16 pcs of wood (1x2x10).
The meeting was adjourned at 9:30 in the morning.

VI. PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED

Not all the parents attended the first Homeroom PTA
Meeting.

VII. LESSONS LEARNED

Have all the parents be informed for whatever activity we

will have in school and remind them ahead of time.

VIII. SUSTAINABILITY/REPLICATION
The orientation and planning with the teachers and
parents were observed to be very important especially in
bringing back the students in school with the new setting. The
plans must be sustained throughout the implementation to
have a successful outcome.
