The data in this report was obtained from the Lynchburg Police
Department’s Record Management System and the Lynchburg Computer
Aided Dispatch System This data is accurate as of November 2, 2022.

The table below depicts reported shootings between January 1, 2020 and
November 1, 2022. Shooting offenses include any homicide or aggravated
assault where a firearm was used to commit the offense.
