    (1) An incline experiment was conducted on the vessel Al Fairouz, a cargo dhow, on March 20, 2020 in Hamata. The vessel was found to have a displacement of 26.6 tons and its metacenter (KM) was located 3.459 meters above its center of gravity. (2) The experiment involved shifting known weights between sides of the ship and measuring pendulum deflections. From the results, the vessel's center of gravity was calculated to be 1.1 meters above the baseline and its transverse metacenter (GM) was found to be 2.36 meters. (3) Corrections were made to determine the light ship displacement of 23.3 tons
