37TH GRADUATION CEREMONY

THEME: WITNESSES TO THE WORLD”

Africa International University will be celebrating its 37th Graduation Ceremony for all
candidates who qualified during the 2022/2023 academic year for the conferment of various
degrees and the award of Diplomas and Certificates on Friday the 4th of November 2022.
YOU ARE THEREFORE KINDLY ASKED TO NOTE THE FOLLOWING EVENTS
AND DATES:

1. GRADUATION THANKSGIVING SERVICE

The service will be held at All Saints’ Cathedral Nairobi on Sunday 30th, 2022

2. GRADUATION BANQUET
The Graduation Banquet will be held on Wednesday the 2nd of November 2022 at the AIU
Chapel from 1.00pm to 5.00pm. This is the event for all the Graduating Students.
3. DEADLINE FOR FINANCIAL CLEARANCE
All academic related fees should be paid by Friday 14th October 2022.

4. ACADEMIC ATTIRE
All graduands will be required to be in full academic attire during the graduation ceremony. The
attire will be issued at academic building on Monday 31st October 2022 and Tuesday 1st
November 2022 from 9.00am to 4.00pm.

3. RETURN OF ACADEMIC ATTIRE

All graduands are expected to return the academic attire latest by Tuesday 15th November 2022.
after which a fine of Ksh 500 per day will be levied for any attire returned after the deadline.
4. REHEARSAL
It is MANDATORY that all graduands attend the rehearsal at the graduation grounds on
Thursday 3rd of November 2022 at 2.00 pm. Graduands attending the rehearsal should be at the
graduation grounds at 1.30pm.
5. GRADUANDS’ PROCESSION
All graduands will enter the graduation grounds in a procession. The procession will start at 9am
on Friday 4th November 2022 with all the graduands lined up according to their respective
Schools. The procession will enter the graduation grounds at 9.45am. Only graduands who will
be in the procession and attired appropriately, will be allowed into the graduation grounds for the
graduation ceremony.

7. TIME
The graduation ceremony will start promptly at 10.00am. Late comers will not be allowed into
the Graduation grounds once the ceremony has started.

8. CERTIFICATES AND TRANSCRIPTS

Students that have done due processes of clearance and returned the graduation attire can pick
their certificates and transcripts at the Records office on graduation day after the ceremony, or
any other working day during office hours.
