Lee el siguiente texto. Luego escribe al lado de cada palabra en itàlica una “S” si la

palabra es sustantivo, o “Adj.” si es adjetivo:

Your desktop computer or PC is a marvelous tool. It can do many things to help you

Lee el siguiente párrafo y luego traduce las oraciones o frases que se presentan:

DO YOU KNOW BILL GATES

The worldwide leader of software, William Henry Gates III also commonly well known

as Bill Gates was born on the 28th of October 1955. Bill´s lovely mother, Mary

Maxwell, was born in 1929 in Seattle, Washington.

Gates grew up among prominent families in the northeastern United States.

His father, Bill Gates Jr. was born in Bremerton. After he became a lawyer, he went

back to Bremerton and became a district attorney assistant.

Bill´s interesting nickname was Trey, which referred to the number III in his name.

He began the Microsoft company with the belief that the computer would be

everybody´s office valuable tool.

Lee el siguiente párrafo y extrae 6 verbos en presente simple.

available to the online learning community. Learning online is popular for

Ejercicio No. 1

Lee el siguiente texto y responde las preguntas:

SCANNERS

Scanners are the eyes of your computer. They can “see” images or printed text and

translate them into binary code.

Most scanners collect data from a page by recording which areas are light and which

are dark. They contain a camera which is made up of thousands of tiny cells.

Each cell detects whether a small part of the image is either light or dark. It transmits

this data to the CPU, which then creates the image.

In order to see images, hear music or transmit information the PC uses output devices

to communicate.
