The Mini Tripod for DSLR and Digital cameras offers a full 360 degree
rotation plus 180 degrees of tilt and is exactly what I was looking for. It
also locks down well, once you add the noted washer to the deck screw.

This Monopod base allows the head to be used on a fixed stand that takes
less space. You also don't have to worry about a leg finding a surface edge
and going for a slide.

The 156DT tower already has set of different sand weighted base sizes as
well as screw down and clamp down sockets. This Monopod will fit into any
of them.

PRINT
I usually print my shafts on their side. These will have a bit of support
structure to do that, but I find it worth the getting the linear layer
direction. Exterior blemishes from supports are not important to operation.

You can print the short monopod and one or two extensions or just print a
taller one.

The tall one in the picture was my original print before I hollowed it out. All
will print like the shorter one with the hollowed center.

Base and Extension Parts

Extensions and bases are in the 156DT Display Tower library

Look in the base and extension folders for options. The 100mm square
base would be too small for a 35mm DSLR, the 130mm would be the
minimum to try. I was thinking maybe a taller 100mm that could hold more
fill material may help. Obviously your camera size and weight with the lens
will influence what you need. If you have a really heavy camera, use your
judgment.

Keep in mind shaft parts are push together and therefore probably best
used in static locations.

Original Parts you need and Hardware

You use all the original Tripod parts except body-bottom.stl and the leg.stl.
I used 10/32" bolts as that is what I had laying around. They worked fine.
The one in the photo is for indoor use and behaves very well in PLA.
