To Dr. Carolina Violeta, our SDS, your overwhelming support and
leadership in promoting edukalidad in our division is commendable. To Chief Education Supervisor CID and SGOD, Education Program Supervisors, School Heads, Head Teachers, and Master Teachers – let us unite and create an intervention in line with promoting academic honesty.
Walang MAPAPALA sa PANDARAYA. Walang kahulugan ang KARUNUGAN
kung ito ay walang KATAPATAN.
In this trend of remote learning in basic education, maintaining academic
integrity remains critical across modalities. Whether online or in face-to-face school interaction, academic dishonesty undermines established learning systems and invalidates assessments. Worse thing – it never promises learning.
Academic dishonesty undermines these assessments along with the entire
learning system. It creates the illusion that the learner has mastered subject matter when that is not the case. That may benefit them in the short term, but it catches up with them eventually.
Preserving academic integrity and excellence is more complicated in an online
learning environment. Unique challenges, like whether cheating will increase as students work and take tests away from the eyes of instructors, are presented when students use devices to facilitate their learning. But it’s not a lost cause.
This webinar will enlighten us to conceptualize strategies to heighten the
awareness of the schools in our division to promote academic honest among learners. This will help teachers and school heads improve learners’ performance in their respective subjects. Hindi dahilan ang pandemya para mangopya. Ipagpatuloy ang kaalaman kahit na may kasalukuyang krisis sa kalusugan. Higit kailanman ito ang tamang panahon para matuto ang mga minamahal nating kabataan.
