“The Trojan war”

In this paper, I briefly summarize what happened in the film "The Trojan War," and then
I offer my insight or reflection on what I felt or noticed as a result of seeing that video.

There was a prophecy about Olympian hierarchy and god love rivalry before the Trojan
War. Poseidon and Zeus were in love long before the war. They both changed their minds after
learning the consequences of marrying Thetis. It is possible that Zeus or one of his brothers
would be more powerful than their father if the sea-nymph slept with them. To remedy this, Zeus
made Thetis marry King Peleus.

As soon as Zeus learned of Peleus and Thetis' marriage, he organized a lavish party for
all the gods. Eris, however, was absent. She left with her gift thrown into the mob. The goddess
threw a golden apple into the crowd before leaving the party, engraved with the inscription "for
the fairest." After the fruit was thrown, Aphrodite, Athena, and Hera fought about who should
have it. When Zeus couldn't decide, he sent the goddesses to Paris, the prince of Troy.

The goddesses began showering Paris with gifts to entice him. Hera promised him
political power and the kingdom if he married her. Aphrodite promised him the most beautiful
woman, while Athena provided wisdom and martial abilities. Paris chooses Aphrodite without
hesitation.

Helen had two sons with Sparta's ruler, Menelaus. Paris stole Helen from her home while
on a diplomatic expedition to Sparta, intending to return her to Troy with him. Helen was hit by
Cupid or Eros' arrow before she could look up and see Paris. When she first saw Paris, she fell in
love.

Others believe Zeus started the Trojan War to destroy demigods. But it's not the only one.
Why did Zeus act like this? He feared the world was too crowded because he had so many
romances that produced so many demigods. This is thought to be the origin of the conflict.
The Trojan War began after Helen was stolen. Because Helen's husband, Menelaus,
asked Agamemnon to go find her and bring her back to him. Agamemnon enlisted the aid of
other Greek heroes such as Odysseus, Ajax, Nestor, and Achilles.

When these events occurred, the Trojan War had been raging for ten years. The Greeks
left a huge wooden horse outside Troy's gates. When the Greeks went, it was done. It was hotly
debated whether or not to bring the wooden horse into Troy. No, they didn't listen to their
mother's warnings. Finally, the horse reached the city.

Odysseus fashioned a wooden horse to end the war. Soldiers might hide within the
hollowed-out wooden horse. The car rolled in front of Troy. Sinon, a double spy for both sides,
was left behind after the Greeks departed Troy. He convinced the Trojans that the Greeks had
stopped fighting and that the horse was a goodbye gift worth a fortune.

But when the sun turned down, the Greek soldiers emerged. The Greeks may defeat and
destroy the Trojans from within. Gods cannot forget or forgive. Despite winning the fight, the
Greek heroes were mostly punished. Despite many adventures and mishaps, only a few Greek
soldiers returned home. Fewer people were invited home after being slain or exiled.

Typically, I prefer romantic comedies and action movies, but this particular film type
does not appeal to me. I had a horrible feeling the entire time I watched it since the story was so
different from what I was used to seeing in movies. The king's desire to kill his son because of
the prophecy moved me right away; it is unusual for a father to kill his child because of a
warning, and I felt terrible for the monarch. According to John Wooden, the essential things in
the world are family and love. In this film, the contrary was true because family ties were not
considered when it came to destroying a place in their community. This servant disobeyed his
master's orders and abandoned the baby to avoid punishment from the monarch. However, out of
guilt, he returned to where he left the infant and raised the boy as his son. Even though he is not
related by blood, he chooses to provide extraordinary care for the child over his biological father,
despite their difference.

To them, it was critical to be in a position of authority. Weapons and blood may still be
spotted on the battlefield from when the combat began. As a result of such struggle, numerous
warriors died as no one wants to be defeated. To my mind, if two parties have a disagreement,
they should first negotiate with one another before going to war. Perhaps if I were one of the
ladies in that region and without the ability to fight, I would choose to be killed rather than
observe how each of them hurt themselves and ultimately killed. After the fight, there will be no
justice, and everything will have perished as a result of it. The children of those troops will never
see their father again as a result of that war. However, because they have divergent religious or
cultural values, they will defend their territory if someone who is not a member of the group
commits an error against them. No one was permitted to enter their domain.

What would have occurred if President Duterte had not engaged in discussions or made
friends with foreign leaders? We would most likely be in the same situation as in the movie The
Trojan War, if he had not talked to the Chinese President and had not waged a military campaign
against this country in the West Philippine Sea, to mention a few instances. If a scenario like this
occurred in our country, and our leaders were not modest and instead assumed the position of a
courageous leader, we would have the same experience in the film.
