Topic:

It is becoming increasingly popular to have a year off between finishing school and going
to university. What are the advantages and disadvantages of this?

 1st draft

Nowadays, after completing their high school education, student will begin to
continue their college enrollment process. Besides, there are some people who
choose to think to a year to do the things they enjoy before staring college. In
this essay will analyze the advantages and disadvantages “Gap year” of student.
One the one hand, there are 2 reason why it’s beneficial to have a year off
school. Firstly, because of the problem of wanting to look at myself and want to
relieve fatigue after a long exam. To be specific, people want to look at
themselves and try to listen to what they want to make decisions about
continuing their education in the future. Moreover, people can spend that year off
doing things they enjoy. For example, traveling in different places and
experiencing life after a long tiring process.
On the other hand, there are some downsides to the one-year study that we need
to be aware of. Firstly, people will be left behind compared to their peers. More
specifically, by thinking about a school year, if we decide to start studying again,
we may not be able to keep up with the rhythm of the new lessons because there
has been a fairly long period of not studying. Second, we may be more
susceptible to the other difficult problems of going back to school. For instance,
we have not realized that we really love our chosen field or not and it will easily
lead to dropping out. Finally, the question of whether this one-year study will
have a lot of impact on whether or not to continue studying or not, so many
students will have a hard time thinking about it. Therefore, after many students
choose to start further university without losing a year of their life because it is
the smartest choice.
In conclusion, I believe that thinking a school year will bring many interesting
things for students, but we also need to consider some limitations of this issue.
Moreover, in my opinion, it depends on the choice and harmony.
