Course Objective:
The main objective of this course is to gain familiarity with the basic norms and
culture of communication in an official environment. The topics deal with the
different channels and directions of business communication and the tools that are to
be utilized for an effective and smooth communication process. Additionally, the
understanding of using appropriate communication tools, such as letters, reports,
memos, notices and circulars is also imparted. The knowledge of how to write an
effective resume and curriculum vitae as well as a cover letter to accompany it at the
time of job pursuit is also conveyed. This subject will give an in depth understanding
of the communication tools and mediums, which is the core purpose of this course.
