GENERIC NAME : Cefuroxime

BRAND NAME : Ceftin
CLASSIFICATION : cephalosporin antibiotics

SIDE EFFECTS REASON/PURPOSE OF ADMINISTRATION

 CNS: Headache, dizziness, lethargy, pares thesias

 GI: Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, anorex ia, abdominal Cefuroxime was administered to Patient X in order to kill or
pain, flatulence, pseudomembranous colitis, reduce the growth of the microorganisms causing the illness
hepatotoxicity and prevent it from growing worse or spreading because
 GU: Nephrotoxicity Patient X has multiple physical injuries and has undergone
 Hematologic: Bone marrow depres sion (decreased wound debridement and disarticulation. The wound could be
WBC, decreased platelets, decreased Hct) able to heal as a result.
 Hypersensitivity: Ranging from rash to fever to
anaphylaxis; serum sickness re action
 Local: Pain, abscess at injection site, phlebitis,
inflammation at IV site
 Other: Superinfections, disulfiram-like reaction with
alcohol

BRAND NAME : Ambidol
CLASSIFICATION : Opioid Analgesic

SIDE EFFECTS REASON/PURPOSE OF ADMINISTRATION

Tramadol oral tablet may cause drowsiness. You should not

drive, use heavy machinery, or perform any dangerous Patient X was prescribed tramadol to alleviate pain, including
activities until you know how this drug affects you. Tramadol pain from surgery, after the procedure of wound debridement,
may also cause other side effects. which resulted in severe discomfort/pain. (pain scale: 7 out of
10)

The more common side effects of tramadol can include:

 Dizziness
 Headache
 Drowsiness
 Nausea And Vomiting
 Constipation
 Lack Of Energy
 Sweating
 Dry Mouth
 Itching

CLASSIFICATION : Analgesic

SIDE EFFECTS REASON/PURPOSE OF ADMINISTRATION

The following is a list of possible side-effects that may occur

from all constituting ingredients of Amcetam Infusion Patient X received paracetamol through intravenous injection
 Feeling of sickness following the debridement of the wound and disarticulation of
 Skin reddening the finger since this method acts as a preventative analgesic for
 Allergic reactions postoperative pain management.
 Shortness of breath
 Swollen facial features
 Liver damage
 Abnormalities of blood cells
 Nausea * Rashes
 Liver toxicity
 Less white blood cells
 Acute renal tubular necrosis
 Blood dyscrasias
 * Amcetam Infusion may also cause side-effects
