CHAPTER 3

Research Methodology

This chapter presents the method use, research environment, research instrument,
validating the instrument, scoring procedure, data gathering procedure and statistical
treatment which are employ to gather the data and information considered in the study.

Research Instrument

The study used questionnaires as its research instrument because it gathers data
faster than any method & it is the most convenient among all other instruments.

The questionnaire was composed of two major parts. The first part deals with
the personal profile of the respondents in terms of age, sex, civil status and
employment status. While the second part dealt with the factors affecting their
decisions to be vaccinated against Covid-19.

Data Collection Method

The data relevant to the study was through primary source using survey
questionnaire that was distributed directly to the respondents and aids with personal
interviews for some issues not clear. Secondary data was taken from the books, & the
internet.
