1. compare and contrast verbal and nonverbal communications;
2. identify whether the statement about verbal and nonverbal
communication is true or not; and
3. appreciate the importance of verbal and non-verbal communications.

Show pictures to students and ask volunteers to guess or describe the


feeling evoked by the picture shown.

Activity

Game : Ask one student-volunteer to be the actor of the game


“Charade” or “Pinoy Henyo”. The group that can get the highest score is the
winner.

 How were you able to guess the answer?


Let the students watch a video about Verbal and Nonverbal
Communication.

Analysis

1. How would you differentiate verbal and non-verbal communication?


2. What is the importance of verbal and non-verbal communication?
3. In what instance does verbal and non-verbal communication usually
occurs?
