College Degree Preferences of Grades 11 and 12 ABM Students
Members:
The most common concern for incoming college students is selecting a course that will
undoubtedly fit their attitude, strengths, skills, and knowledge. These days, some students have
difficulty selecting the right course due to the following worries and factors: lack of knowledge,
poverty, peer pressure, insecurity, and failures in both academic and personal areas. They should
be permitted to pick their courses in order to prepare for college because they would learn more
conveniently. Students should be given the chance to pursue their preferred course of study
because they are aware of their areas of strength. The preferences of students for teaching and
learning have been studied in particular within the context of online or distance learning (e.g.
Lizzio et al., 2002; Richardson 2005, 2006). Choosing a course may take a long time, but it is
critical, it may be the deciding factor in whether or not you continue your career.
People must understand that if they want to break into the middle class or higher, they will
need not only experience but also a degree (Samuelson, 2017). It may be difficult, but it is one of
the foundations of your career. Accounting, Business, and Management (ABM), students will
benefit from this in expanding their skills, becoming more competent, and understanding and
navigating their college experience. In order to better fulfill the needs of the learners, the
curriculum has been altered by allowing them to select a course that matches their interests in the
field.
