Background of the Study

Entrepreneurial orientation is a behavioral construct, correlates positively, and improves

firm performance, thus characterized entrepreneurial orientation as proactiveness,

innovativeness, and risk-taking behavior (Marques et al., 2018a, b). Looking into the individual

entrepreneurial orientation (IEO), it can enhance the predictability for future entrepreneurs.

These results can also be helpful for incubators, as well as investors. Researchers believe that

IEO can lead to a better understanding of individual entrepreneurial behaviors. Research in the

field of entrepreneurship intention overlooked the individual’s entrepreneurial orientation, which

considers proactiveness, risk-taking, and innovativeness as entrepreneurial competencies

(Goktan and Gupta, 2015). The study will be conducted on the campus of Cor Jesu College,

Inc. The location was chosen because ABM senior high school inside the campus also relate and

can relate to struggles with their emotional attitudes. Through the conduction of the study, we

will discover why and how their attitude reacts during entrepreneurial problems and other

matters.

Conducting this study would benefit first and foremost the students as they navigate their

academic life and improve their entrepreneurial attitudes. The results and discussions of this

would help students realize what they must do to improve their way of life, especially in the

academic. Secondly, the advisers or heads would know how to handle and respond to students’

attitudes towards the entrepreneurial aspects. Finally, people in the entrepreneurial field would

benefit from this study the most and this would also open future opportunities for other studies to

be conducted.

Our research question is followed by our flowchart's starting point, the study title. We

would start exploring pertinent ideas and concepts and also develop hypotheses based on our

hypothesis inquiry. As soon as we had both, we would move on to collecting data using a

qualitative methodology. Then, we'd go find responders who'd be willing to take part in the study

and conduct it.

Research Locale
