trust and confidence of their customers.
All Herbs Sellers must swear to an Oath of the Traditional Medicine Board to maintain
the good names of the Board and keep away from anything or doing that may tarnish
its image or conviction in the Court of Law for felony or misdemeanour would earn the
offending herbs seller erasure of his or her name from the register of Traditional
Medicine Board.
Al Herbs Sellers must regard other members as colleagues in the noble art of herbs
selling and always appreciate the need for referral of any customer that needs some
herbs which he or she (Herbs Seller) does not have in possession at the material time
of demand.
Herbs Sellers must always concentrate her selling profession and should not
prepare concoction for hawking either by herself or by employing agent for the
hawking of either concoction or any roots and herbs on the streets.
Herbs Sellers must not sell any fake herb to their customer, they should seek advice
from other herb seller for identification of any unknown herbs or anyone that he or
she may have forget the name of the said herb.
Herbs Sellers must prepared to render help or give a second opinion on any case if
requested to do by another member.
Herbs Sellers must treat all their customers well whenever they approach them.
Herbs Sellers must be very conversant with medicinal plants and should not sell any
poisonous herbs to unexpected customer.
The premises, shop must be kept clean and high standard of hygiene must be
observed at all time.
All herbs must be properly displayed, label and kept under optimum temperature and
pressure so that it may not contaminate or rotting so that the active ingredients
contained therein are not destroyed.
Herbs Sellers must not procure abortion
Herbs Sellers are bared from practicing Traditional Medicine of any form
All herbs Sellers must always obey the Code of conduct as stated above in this Law
and Code of Practice.
