 STRENGTHS

• The square is a destination for national celebrations.

• The site is located in the heart and center of Beni Suef city.

• The site is surrounded by the largest gathering of government services.

• Availability of green spaces.

• Wind movement is good on the site.

• The site location connects the whole district.

• The site is near by the train station

• The site has an important history for the province because it reflects

the city’s revolutions

 WEAKNESS

• Traffic congestion in the field.

• Not enough parking spaces
• The existence of a local market that has no restrictions near the site.
• The different heights of the buildings affect the access of the sun to
some areas.
• Lack of green areas
• Unavailability of public toilets.
• The existence of the railway that create loud noises.
• Narrow side streets in the site
• Streets are filled with sellers on the sidewalk
• rubbish everywhere.
• There are unused places of the state that are lost.
 OPPORTUNITIES

• Connecting public spaces and providing services to pedestrians, which

highlights the value of the site.
• The largest and most important mosque in the governorate (Omar bin
Abdulaziz Mosque) is located in the square.
• The location of the site has potential for many residential and other
project development.
• Presence of an empty parts that can support in revamping the project
• The presence of an immortal's garden that can be an attraction area for
the project land
 THREATS

• The memorial is now hidden and isolated by the new bridge.

• Lack of planning in the residential areas.

• The large population of the site.

• Lack of suitable tree cover, which helps to raise the temperature.

• There is no enough space for future expansion

• Lack of police stations nearby the site

• Government interests gather, causing congestion in working

hours
