Think of the facts, events the challenges as well as the changes brought to us by the deadly COVID-19

pandemic. By applying your learnings on the different clientele and audiences of social work, briefly
describe each client why they are considered to be a potential clientele of social work.

Individuals
Pandemic shaped us into who we are right now, a braver and wiser one. Every individual experiences
different struggles in life and most of them happened at home where it has affected how we live today. At
those times, we need someone who can help us and we specifically seek help from a social worker.
Individuals can be considered as a clientele of social work. They can seek help from a social worker on
their own accord, involuntarily, and referred by someone because they are experiencing abuse, having
personal problems, are victims of discrimination, are part of a marginalized sector, are a timeless people,
are mentally ill, etc. As long as they didn't get their rights and experience social injustice, they can be a
client of social work as they will go through a meaningful journey that reshapes, reinforces, and restores
their social functioning.

Groups & Organization

Up to this time, we are still experiencing hardships in life because of the pandemic where many groups of
people have been affected. They adapt to those changes that our government implemented over the past 2
years and some of them didn't survive the battle between the unforeseen foe may be because of a lack of
funds and people to help.
Those groups and organizations that I am referring to have in common with each other might be
LGBTQA+, marginalized people, neglected children, abused people, etc. In this case, they can be a client
of social work because they can meet their needs as a team with same social concerns

Community
While in community, it's the major source of clients of social work because everyone is part of a
community and whatever happens in a community it will cause domino effect to everyone. When
pandemic devastated our lives, every sector in our community has been shouting and fighting for their
lives.
A community consists of different people with different class of life and situation where they belong to,
and which case, socisl work can be a big help to support them where they provide services they can offer.
In a nutshell, the social work is a catalyst of change and development in our lives. It helps the community
to give rights to each individual and lessen the social injustice in our society.
