1.0 INTRODUCTION
1.1 Power Supply
An electrical appliance known as a power supply provides electricity to an electrical load,
such as a server or laptop computer, among other electronic devices. Converting electric
current from a source to the proper voltage, current, and frequency to power the load is
the primary purpose of a power supply. Either AC to DC or DC to DC is possible. As a
result, power supplies are occasionally thought of as electric power converters. While
some power sources are internal to the device and others are external power supply, some
power supplies are independent and separate from equipment.

Every power supply contains one or more power output connections that provide current
to the electrical load and a power input connection that receives energy from a source.
The energy source could come from the electrical power grid, which typically offers AC,
like an electrical outlet, and energy storage devices, which typically provide DC, such
solar power equipment, batteries, generators, or another power source.

3.0 CONCLUSION

In conclusion, several power sources are utilized to effectively and efficiently supply power to
the systems. For major industrial uses, for instance, solar and wind energy are being converted to
electric energy. The primary component of any system that uses electricity is the power supply.
In addition to providing power, they help shield the system from outside disturbances. Therefore,
a power supply's design and development considerations are more crucial. As technology is
growing, more advanced power supplies are being invented to provide best protection and
efficient power to the devices.
