Lesson Plan in Physical Education 6

2nd Quarter

I-OBJECTIVES: at the end of the lesson the pupils are expected to:
a. Identify the different kinds of invasion games/activities.
b. Explain the nature / background of the invasion games/activities.
II-SUBJECT MATTER

Topic: Invasion Games (Physical Fitness based on the Philippines physical activity Pyramid
INVASION GAMES ) PE6GS-IIb-1
III PROCEDURE
a. Review: The teacher will congratulate learners for passing the first quarter.
b. Motivation – Act Ko, Guess Mo!
The teacher will group learners into two and ask 1 representative each group to act the following ;
1. PATINTERO
2. SUNGKA
3. AGAWAN BASE
4. LUKSONG BAKA
5. CHINESE GARTER
c. Presentation: The teacher will present the lesson FILIPINO INVASION GAMES to the learners using the words act
by each representative.
d. Discussion: The teacher will further explain the lesson through a PowerPoint Presentation

Activity 1
The pupils will solve the puzzle that teacher will give to each group and identify the kind of invasion game
formed and explain the nature of the game.

POSSIBLE ANSWER:
TIRABOL/LUKSONG LUBID/LUKSONG HANGIN
-this game is played either by 1 or by group.
2 players who’ll hond the rope at the edge .
Whoever will step or will be hit by the rope will be out
Until the whole member of the group will be out.
Whoever reach the highest stage will be the winner.
Activity 2
Pupils will identify what is being described in the sentence.
1. Invasion/territory game-It aims to invade opponent’s territory while trying to score points and defend
their space to prevent the opposing team to score.
2. Nature/background of the game- What should the players know in order to win the game?
3. Patintero-It is an example of invasion or territory game.
4. Toxins-It flushes out ____________ in the body as we sweat.
5. Respect-An example of values developed when playing invasion games.
6. Bone&muscles-Part of the body that strengthens when playing invasion games.
7. Weight-Invasion games helps to maintain proper__________ and good posture.

e. Generalization:
The teacher will let pupils

2. In your own opinion, why do Physical activities like invasion games be

3. Why, do you think physical activities such as invasion game is important
