(1) Describe Christian attitudes towards Euthanasia? [2pts]

Christians believe that God is the giver of life, which is made

from the image and likeness of God, and He is also the one who can
take it from us. Most Christians are against euthanasia because it is
deciding on a person’s hand to kill a person to end their pain and
suffering. It is also written in the commandments of God that Thou
shall not kill because the life of a human being is valuable to God.

(2) Describe biblical and Church teaching about euthanasia. [3pts]

The Church regards euthanasia as morally wrong because they

believe that only God has the right to end life. The Bible teaches
Christians to value the fifth commandment of God, "You shall not
kill." Christians believe in the principle of "sanctity of life," which
rests on the person's unique relationship with God, is the basis of the
Church's honoring of human life as a fundamental value. Under this
principle, direct intervention to end a patient's life in a terminal
condition to end its suffering would not be accepted. The Church
believes that each person should enter the dying process with trust in
God and in solidarity with their fellow human beings. The person
should die with the dignity of letting themselves be loved
unconditionally.

(3) Explain how Christians might put their beliefs about euthanasia
into practice. [5pts]
Christians believe that God has the right time and has a plan for
everything, even after death. This allows Christians to build
acceptance in death with the trust that they will be put into God's
arms and paradise after death on earth. Furthermore, Christians value
every human life as a gift from God and will die with dignity,
upholding that God is the creator of life and He is also the one who
can take it from us. Despite the different beliefs, every Christian is
enlightened by the Bible's teachings that suffering and pain do not
stop life from being valuable and are not a reason for ending life.

(4) 'Christians should never agree with euthanasia. 'Do you agree?
Give reasons for your answer.(5pts)

I agree that Christians should disagree with euthanasia because

it is against our principles and teachings in the Bible. We Christians
believe that God is the giver of life, so God is the only one who can
take it from us. There is a right time for the death of every person in
God's will, and it should not be put into a person's hands to end their
pain and suffering. Life is a gift from God that shows His love for us,
and we should embrace and commit to this gift despite the pain and
suffering that we may experience.

(5) Explain how Christian teachings might support Christians who are
caring for people who are terminally ill. [5pts]

Christian teachings support terminally ill Christians through

prayers. Christians believe that prayer gives hope and comfort to a
patient through God's grace. Christians believe that prayers can also
create miracles that may help the sick person. Special rituals known
as sacraments are also done, which can give meaning to sickness
and death. One of the rituals is the Anointing of the sick, which brings
a special gift of the Holy Spirit that gives spiritual strength, helping
the sick person bear the trials of sickness with more confidence and
trust.

 (6) ‘Only God has the right to end a life.’

Do you agree? Give reasons to support your answer and show that
you have thought about different points of view. You must refer to
Christianity in your answer. [5pts]
I agree that God is the only one who has the right to end life
because He is the creator of all forms of living and the one who gives
us life. Our life is a borrowed life, and we are obliged to take care of it
and to serve Him since He is the one who created us and makes us
experience the beauty of life. Everyone will experience the process of
dying at the right time and according to God's will because I believe
that God has plans for us. Life is sacred, and we don't have the right
to take it from ourselves and anyone because killing is a sin.
