ABSTRACT
This project used to travel on land and water . The WAL ROBOT (water & land
robot) which will travel on land and on the water and it will be capabilities for both civilian
and military applications. It will travel different environments and locations and to perform
various missions. It will work with better efficiency and with less power consumption.
The project aims is to design an android interface, Arduino and write program in to
the Arduino microprocessor. It contains Arduino microcontroller with basic mobility
features. Arduino programs contain instructions mediating between android controller.
Android mobile controller uses different mobile sensors to supervise motion. An appropriate
program in the Arduino microprocessor to interact with the android controller has to be
created. Various actions through performed via Bluetooth module. It is a hardware project
done by using Arduino board. It is used extensively in android applications.

INTRODUCTION
 Our project is mainly about controlling robot using
mobile application.
 This robot can be used in many fields as Entertaining
robot game for children or Spying purpose after adding
some further features such as a webcam ,so it may be
used as a delivery tool for specific type of services and
military applications.

COMPONENTS
What is ARDUINO ?
 The Arduino Uno is a microcontroller board based on the
ATmega328 (datasheet).
 It has 14 digital input/output pins of which 6 can be used as PWM
outputs.
 6 analog inputs, a 16 MHz crystal oscillator, a USB connection, a
power jack and a reset button

07
What is bluetooth ?

08
SERVO MOTOR
 Servo motors are constructed out of basic DC motors, by adding:
• some gear reduction
• a position sensor for the motor shaft
• an electronic circuit that controls the motor's operation
 A Servo is a small device that has an output shaft
 This shaft can be positioned to specific angular positions by sending
the servo a coded signal

09
HC-05 BLUETOOTH MODULE

 Which interact with mobile application to control the

direction of the vehicle.
 It has four pins :
VCC (Power 3.3 – 6V)
GND
TXD
RXD

010
MOTOR DRIVER

 Motor drivers acts as an interface between the motors and

the control circuits

011
BO DC MOTORS

 Dc motor converts electrical energy into mechanical

energy.
 .DC MOTOR concept is where gears reduce the speed of the
vehicle but increase its torque

012
APPLICATIONS

Can be used in examining mini tunnel and can also

be used in rescuing
civilian and military applications.

013
ADVANTAGES

User friendly.
Simple construction.
easy maintenance.
not difficult to install.
Less power consumption

014
DISADVANTAGES

Only move 10 meters.

Recharge the battery after its discharged.
