Turkish Kavurma
2 sticks of butter
two new york strip, good marbling
3 chorizo sausages
1 package of quail eggs
grated havarti cheese
diced tomatoes
seasonings
himalyan salt
pepper
garlic
chili powder
cumin
onion powder [ or shallots]
saffron
oregano
either pre cook the sausage and cut into chunks or add first for a few minutes so
they can be cut
add steak cubes
mix seasoning to taste. I used about a teaspoon to a table spoon of each. saffron
was a pinch that was then partially ground
add eggs and seasonings if using shallots add just before egg to saute and omit
