In any society there are sociall recognized ways in which

norms and values of the society are inculcated in the

human infant. Individuals learn group defined ways of

acting and behaving, and what they socially learn becomes

part of their personality.As a social institution school has

to perform the function of socialization. The school

teaches the accepted ways behavior within the group to
