directions
MATERIALS:
• 8 Oreo cookies per child There are generally 30 Oreo Double Stuft per box. I find that
these work best with the project due to the large amount of cream!
• 1 paper or Styrofoam plate per child
• Liquid glue or hot glue gun
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Glue the Earth to the middle of the paper and sun to the edge.
2. Give each child a cookie. Ask them to CAREFULLY twist it off. Double Stuft works best
because they pop right off without too much breakage.
3. Place the Oreo’s in the correct place. Start with the New Moon closest to the sun. The
full moon goes on the opposite side.
4. When all Oreo’s are placed, glue down the labels.
5. Glue down the Phases of the Moon title.
