Vaca Vaca Marifer Jasmin reviewed the book "Using the brain, knowing our minds to live better" by Facundo Manes. The book discusses various mental phenomena and how they relate to the functioning of the brain, including topics like language, intelligence, memory, creativity, emotions, and social behaviors. While interesting, the review notes that the information is quite general and does not focus deeply on specific topics. It provides a basic overview of how the brain works but may not be as informative as other books that delve more deeply into individual areas.

Class: 94AH Date: 16-01-2022 Book Review The book is titled "Using the brain, knowing our minds to live better" by Facundo Manes. I really enjoyed reading this book a lot, it deals with neuroscience topics. It focuses on different mental phenomena in relation to the functioning of that "machine" called the brain: language, intelligence, memory, creativity, emotions, love, happiness, social behaviors, morality, violence, empathy, autism, depression. , among other. It is a very interesting book, however, the information is very general and does not focus on a specific topic. Although it is a fairly simple book, it has its degree of complexity as it is full of little- known terms. It has a lot of exciting information. However, many books address the same type of information by specifying each of the topics in a better way. Although this type of book seems to be boring, the way the author approaches each of the topics is quite entertaining. If you do need to know in a very general way how the brain works, I definitely recommend this book.
