Introduction

Marg ERP software is a business process management software that helps to take care of
every requirement of your business including Retail chain, supply chain, sales force
automation, Financial Accounting, Inventory, Budgeting, Production, GST etc.

MARG ERP 9+ is an on-premise ERP solution used by small, midsize and enterprise
businesses. It offers different modules customized to the needs of retailers, distributors and
manufacturers in a variety of industries. The solution offers android apps for customers,
storeowners and suppliers.

Thakur Anup Singh born on 24th June 1972 is a true leader and Chairman & Managing
Director at MargERP Ltd. He is also the founder of NGO HASI (Human Association for
Smiling India) & Dial2pharma (Pharma Helpline).

Critical factor of success

1. Quality Assurance & Testing

All the software solutions developed undergo following cycle of testing:

i. Requirements Analysis: Testing begins in the requirements phase of the software


development life cycle.
ii. Design Analysis: During the design phase, testers work with developers in
determining what aspects of a design are testable and under what parameter those
tests work.
iii. Test Planning: Test Strategy, Test Plan(s), and Test Bed creation.
iv. Test Development: Test Procedures, Test Scenarios, and Test Cases & Test Scripts to
use in testing software.
v. Test Execution: Testers execute the software based on the plans and tests and report
any errors found to the development team.
vi. Test Reporting: Once testing is completed, testers generate metrics and make final
reports on their test effort and whether the software tested is ready for release.
vii. Retesting the Defects.

In this cycle applications are passed through following levels of testing:

 Component testing tests the minimal software item that can be tested.
 Component integration testing exposes defects in the interfaces and interaction
between integrated components.
 System testing tests an integrated system to verify that it meets its requirements.
 Acceptance testing allows the end-user or customer to decide whether to accept the
product.
 After modifying software, either for a change in functionality or to fix defects, a
regression test re-runs previously passed tests on the modified software to ensure that
the modifications have not unintentionally caused a regression of previous
functionality.
2. Application Maintenance & Support

Marg ERP digitally connects chemists with dealers

Marg ERP, one of the leading inventory and accounting software solutions provider, has

Project preparation and start-up

The conditions for successful project are created prior to actual deployment. Therefore,
MARG invests extra resources in the project preparation and start-up phases. The MARG’s
project preparation phase includes the following activities:

• Project manager nomination and a detailed project plan for the customer
• project, including complementary plans (if any).
• Planning and implementation guidelines.
• MARG’s resource evaluation and planning.
• Contract preparation with subcontractors.
• Risk management.

Project Resource Management

Handover and acceptance coordination. This includes the interface with the customer and
coordinating final deliverable handover meetings, information and document transfers. It
covers the software installation and commissioning and acceptance from the customer.

Project reporting and meetings. MARG’s project team will facilitate bi-weekly (or as
agreed) project meetings with the customer, where the project progress, quality, risks,
changes and so on are reported to the customer.
