The academic program in Unitedworld Singapore campus will consist of the module International Business Strategy as a full-credit module for Term IV alongwith assignments and assessment for the module. Dr. Lim Cheng Hwa: Chairman Examination Board, Unitedworld School of Business, Singapore Dr. Lim was elected a Fellow with the Chartered Institute of Marketing (United Kingdom) in 2003 and he is the Immediate Past Chairman and current President of The Chartered Institute of Marketing (Singapore). He is the founding President of Silver Ribbon Singapore, a voluntary organization that promotes mental health. For the last 10 years, Dr Lim has been a Certified Program Leader with the world renowned Louis Allen Associates Management System and has delivered at numerous conferences and seminars. Since 2003, he was appointed to the Board of Directors of CIMNET, a subsidiary of The Chartered Institute of Marketing (United Kingdom) which runs E-marketing Diploma in the Asia-Pacific region. Mr. Joe Heng Boon Kim: Associate Dean, Unitedworld School of Business, Singapore Prof. Joe Heng holds the Master of Science degree, International Marketing from University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, Scotland with numerous professional qualifications. His employment history includes Academic Director in the education industry as well as in senior management positions with major corporations. In addition in his role as an Academic Director, he has taught management and business subjects, as well as project supervisor for degree and diploma courses. His extensive management experience and academic knowledge greatly enhance his teaching techniques in imparting knowledge and practical skills to his students.

Costing & other details

The International Business camp program takes care of return airfare, accommodation for all nights with breakfast, airport pick-up and drop and all the costs related to academic delivery of the program. Approximate cost to be incurred by the student is Sin$ 30 for Visa and about Sin$ 175 for major meals during stay and travel (by MRT) from place of stay to campus for 10 days of academic program. Any other cost of going to places of tourist interest have to be taken care of by the students for which students are expected to carry reasonable amount of extra money in Sin$. Students can visit the website to look at the places of tourist interest and entry tickets for each. In case a student wants to withdraw from the program, there will be eligible for a r efund of Rs. 41,500/- which can be adjusted with subsequent fees payment.

Intimation about withdrawal: 22nd June, 2011, Wednesday (applicable for all students, by sending mail to sangitakar@unitedworld.in) Visa Application Fill-up: 27 th June, 11 AM in campus (for DEL & AMD students only, other campuses will be notified on the date)

Things to be carried for Visa application: Original passport copy and UWSB ID card copy 2 photographs each (3.5 cm * 4.5 cm) with white background, 80% face size, matt finish (MANDATORY). Ears & eyes should be clearly visible and if the applicant is wearing a spectacle it has to be pure white glass and no reflection should be there on the glass or get the photograph done without spectacle). Please note that students need to have photograph strictly as per the specification given above and visa can get rejected if specification is not followed. Please get the photograph done from a good studio clearly mentioning that it is for Singapore visa.
