I FOUND THE SOLUTION!

Quick Version: ENABLE integrity checks

THEN doing the whole bcdedit
TestSigning OFF command. No return of
large test mode watermark in 3 days.

Detailed Version: All this happened a few

days ago. AFTER I enabled integrity
checks then ran bcdedit TestSigning OFF. I
found the watermark had returned.  So I
went into command prompt as an admin
then ran sigverif and found that an Nvidia
driver was graphics driver was considered
"unsigned". (despite conflicting evidence
when I opened the file location and
checked it's digital signatures. evidence in
the attached photo

So noticed this was an Nvidia driver, so I

went to their website to get the update
but found there was none.

I noticed there are others who have issues

with this particular driver being unsigned
which causes this issue, however I am
aware that not all people experiencing the
'test mode watermark' issue will find that
the source of the problem lies in an
unsigned driver. However have the peace
of mind in knowing that I clicked "view
certificate" and then clicked "install
certificate" to see if it changed anything
when I ran sigverif again but it didn't. The
driver is still showing up in the scan as
"unsigned". Regardless; I said maybe this
file is corrupt and I went ahead and
uninstalled the driver and reinstalled it.
Then restarted the computer. ran sigverif
again and it still showed up as unsigned.
But the Test-Mode watermark hasnt re-
appeared since. At first I thought maybe it
was because I was a genius who re-
installed the driver, but then I realized I
never restarted the PC after enabling
integrity checks. So the issue could've
either been solved by uninstalling and
reintalling an unsigned driver, or simply
by restarting the computer AFTER
enabling integrity checks and bcdedit
testsigning off.
good luck to anyone else with this issue.

I don't trust 3rd party solutions that

require downloading a 3rd party .exe file.
So no i didn't need to use the Universal
Watermark Remover and I don't suggest
anyone else with a high end PC uses it
either. PC's are tricky but there is ALWAYS
a way to fix the problem. It's better to
experiment with your computer and mess
it up yourself and be able to explain what
you did rather than download something
that claims to be a quick fix off the
internet and then winding up with 5
additional problems you can't explain.

-cheers
