WHAT?
A smart traffic light is an internet-connected Dynamic traffic system that takes in
vehicle traffic control system capable of present traffic footage and calculates
adapting traffic light controls based on the percentage of congestion and
information collected from sensors, edge allocates the timer to each signal.
devices, and video systems [1].

Why
To ensure that the traffic is smooth even though the infrastructure is limited and encountering high density
in traffic.
To design and develop a smart machine vision system that detects traffic volume and conditions.
To create and implement an optimized machine learning-based system for dynamically controlling traffic
lights depending on the continually changing traffic environment.
To construct a simulation of the smart traffic light control system and evaluate the efficiency of the
prototyped smart traffic light system.
