Long Term Movement calculatiom

For the determination of deflection during the period

of track slab construction to 100years life span,
simplified line model in sofistik is considered. In
model, one modified W9 beam for three span length
(15m-20m-15m) is resting over temporary supports
2.55m from diaphragm c/l behaving as simply
supported until diaphragm cast and gained strength on
41st day from start of construction. The structural
model behaves as continous with diaphragm cast over
which super imposed load is applied and the
deflections are calculated at different stages including
creep and shrinkage effects.
