# Healthcare Sector

The Healthcare sector is immensely benefiting from the advancements in AI. Data
science, especially in medical imaging, has been helping healthcare professionals
come up with better diagnoses and effective treatments for patients. Similarly,
several advanced healthcare analytics tools have been developed to generate
clinical insights for improving patient care. These tools also assist in defining
personalized medications for patients reducing operating costs for clinics and
hospitals. Apart from medical imaging or computer vision, Natural Language
Processing (NLP) is frequently used in the healthcare domain to study the published
textual research data. AI learns from past medical data-sets and suggest the best
treatment possible for the patient.

# Educational Sector

The recent technology development introduces many aspects of difficulty in

education management. There are many new technologies and new businesses
emerging in a single year. As a result of business sectors require a
rapid changing of curriculum from academic institutions. However, the curriculum
revision has to be done in a very short time comparing to a large amount of data
to be processed, resulting in the teaching materials are often lack
behind the business requirements. Education management has to be sensitive and
responsive to the constantly changing of technology environment. In this
paper, data analytic tools are applied for discovering a new dependence between
courses, in order to improve the current sequence of prerequisites. The
dependence detection is made of a feature importance technique based on an
extra-trees classifier. We also compare various types of classifiers for
predicting a grade of a next enrollment using the results of prior
studies. The grade prediction is designed to suggest the best study path to
match individual talent.

# Travel Agency

Cabs, Flights, Auto-Rickshaws, Train and Buses needs to maintain the records of
people travelling in them so as to help in making proper billing systems which
ensures them to recall the information of the passenger when they want. Information
such as Name and mobile numbers are taken to give personalized ads and sending
upcoming offers to the user via SMS. Information such as Age helps to find if the
traveller is aged or young so as to provide the most comfortable journey to the
passenger. Other informations such as gender is asked to confirm his/her identity
once he/she boarded on his desired travelling vehicle. The preference is asked in
train so as to provide the best suitable seat to the passenger which he prioritized
to sit on.

# Retail Store

Millions of customers view items on retail store website, and retail stores
provides each customer a real-time estimated delivery date for the items purchased.
It runs a backend algorithm that estimates this based on the distance between the
customer and the fulfillment center, inventory levels, and shipping methods
available. The supply chain management system determines the optimum fulfillment
center based on distance and inventory levels for every order. It also has to
decide on the shipping method to minimize transportation costs while meeting the
promised delivery date. Whenever items of an order or multiple orders placed by the
same customer are picked from the shelf and are ready for packing, the box
recommendation system determines the best-sized box to hold all the ordered items
with a minimum of in-box space wasted.

# Social Media
The best suitable example for social media is LinkedIn, LinkedIn news feed is the
heart and soul of the professional community. A member's newsfeed is a place to
discover conversations among connections, career news, posts, suggestions, photos,
and videos. Every time a member visits LinkedIn, machine learning algorithms
identify the best exchanges to be displayed on the feed by sorting through posts
and ranking the most relevant results on top. The algorithms help LinkedIn
understand member preferences and help provide personalized news feeds. The
algorithms used include logistic regression, gradient boosted decision trees and
neural networks for recommendation systems. LinkedIn uses a Convolutional neural
networks based machine learning model. This classifier trains on a training dataset
containing accounts labeled as either "inappropriate" or "appropriate." The
inappropriate list consists of accounts having content from "blocklisted" phrases
or words and a small portion of manually reviewed accounts reported by the user
community.
