Project Description:
POL (Parts Online) is global application, and it works around the world, it is used mostly
for ordering spare parts. Parts Online is DFS - (Dealer Face System) for many back-end systems.
POL application will get the data dynamically from backend system and it will interact directly
with the customer. The main purpose of POL application is to manage orders and parts
consistently. The most common functionalities are using in POL is Order, Parts, Exchange,
Quotation, Discrepancy, Inquiry, Services. POL application is UI application customer/dealer will
connect with application and order the parts or track the orders and many more dealers can do.
POL applications connect with backend systems dynamically and get the business data from
backend systems (VIPs, DSP, POSS, Baldo).

Project Description:
The project involves uplift of legacy applications to new technical stack to cater for the
requirements of the merger of LTSB and Halifax. The legacy applications of LTSB need to
support the requirements of the new group for which the uplift is pre-requisite. This project is
aimed at uplifting the technical stack of Cordiant from 5.6.5 to 6.3 and accommodating the
functional changes required to support LTSB and HBOS E Statement’s application.

A Router Component is being developed for this application to differentiate between the Lloyds
Bank eStatements application and the HBOS eStatements application. Based on the sort code of
the customer the flow of the application will be determined and the corresponding
functionality will be called. The details of the sort code and other information about the
customer details will be provided in an XML file as an input and based on this input, the
respective flow will be called, and the details of the customer can be viewed, or the respective
operation can be done in the eStatements application.
