Note:
1. UDS is Undisturbed Sample that taken from Piston, Shelby or Mazier sample
2. DS Sample is Disturbed Sample that taken from Split Spoon during SPT Test
3. The Load that been applied during consolidation test should meet the minimum as listed below:
a. For sample depth from 0 - 10m, the sample should be loaded minimum 8 kg/cm2 start from 0.125 kg/cm2
b. For sample depth from 10 - 30m, the sample should be loaded minimum 16 kg/cm2 start from 0.25 kg/cm2
c. For sample depth from 30 - 50m, the sample should be loaded minimum 64 kg/cm2 start from 0.5 kg/cm2
4. The confining pressure (σ3) during CU Test is applied at 0.5, 1, and 2 times effective overburden pressure and use single stage test NOT Multistage test.
i.e (at depth 5m, the confining pressure at first sample attempt will be given load (σ3) for =(5x6)/2=15 kN/m2, and for second attempt will be given load (σ 3) for 30kN/m2,
and the third attempt will be given load (σ3) for 60 kN/m2 and etc
5. The confining pressure (σ3) during UU Test is applied at 0.5, 1, and 2 times total overburden pressure and use single stage test NOT Multistage test.
i.e (at depth 5m, the confining pressure at first sample attempt will be given load (σ3) for =(5x16)/2=40 kN/m2, and for second attempt will be given load (σ3) for 80kN/m2,
and the third attempt will be given load (σ3) for 160 kN/m2 and etc
6. If the soil from UDS is not enough for all test, UCS test will be the last option for test and can be eliminate to accommodate the other test
7. If necessary, moisture content, specific gravity and bulk density are tested from UDS which already used for triaxial and consolidation.
8. If necessary, grain size analysis, hydrometer test and atterberg limit from DS are tested from the used specimen from triaxial or consolidation
