Then the priest blesses their union lastly the cake is cut then the bride and groom are married

2. Why do some churches practise infant baptism? (2 marks)

as "an acceptance of the prevenient grace of God and as a confession on the part of the church
of its responsibility for children in general and for every child in particular and it purifies the child
from sin and brings protection to the child
3. What is the importance of baptism? (3 marks)
Baptism is significant in that it represents the forgiveness and cleansing from sin that comes
through faith in Jesus Christ.we also renounce service to sin and give our loyalty and service to
Christ.
