Abbreviations used:

Sl st – Slip stitch

Ch – Chain

Dc – Double crochet

Pattern

Base for the holder

Ch 4, join with sl st to form a ring.

Rnd 1: Ch 3 (counts as first dc), dc in ring 11 times, join with a sl st on 3rd ch of 1st dc – total 12 dc.

Rnd 2: Ch 3+2 (counts as dc + 2ch), dc on next dc and 2ch 11 times, join with a sl st on 3rd ch of 1st
dc – total 12 dc and 12 2ch spaces.

Rnd 3: Sl st in the 1st ch 2 space, 4dc cluster 4ch in each of 2ch spaces, join with sl st on top of 1st
4dc cluster – total 12 4dc cluster and 12 4ch spaces.

Rnd 4: Sc in same st as sl st, 5 dc in next 4ch space and sc on top of next cluster, continue and join
with a sl st on the 1st sc made – total 12 5dc shell and 12 sc.

Rnd 5: Ch 3+3 (counts as dc + 3ch), sc on 3rd dc of 1st 5dc shell, ch 3 and dc on next sc, continue and
join with a sl st on the 3rd ch of 1st dc – total 12 dc, 12 sc, 24 3ch spaces.

Rnd 6: Sl st ch1 sc in the 1st ch3 space, ch 5 and sc in the next ch3 space, continue and finish the
round with ch2 and dc on the 1st sc to keep the working loop in the middle of the last ch 5 space
made – total 24 ch 5 spaces.

Rnd 7: Ch 5 and sc in the next ch5 space, continue and finish the round with ch2 and dc on top of dc
made to finish the last round – total 24 ch 5 spaces.

Rnd 8: Ch 3, 2dc picot 2dc on the next 5ch space, 3ch sc 3ch on the next 5ch space, continue and
finish the round with 3ch and sl st on top of dc made to finish last round. Cut off thread.

Holder pattern

Join thread with a front post sc on any of the sc made on rnd 5.

Rnd 1: Ch 5 fpsc on the next sc , join with sl st on the first fpsc made.

Rnd 2: Sl st in the 1st ch5 space, 3ch(counts as 1st dc) dc 1ch 2dc in the same 5ch space, 2dc 1ch 2dc
in the next 5ch space, continue and join with a sl st on the 3rd ch of 1st dc.

Rnd 3: Sl st on the next dc, sl st on the next ch1 space, 3ch(counts as 1st dc) dc 1ch 2dc in the same
1ch space, 2dc 1ch 2dc in the next 1ch space, continue and join with a sl st on the 3rd ch of 1st dc.

Rnd 4: Sl st on the next dc, sl st on the next ch1 space, 3ch(counts as 1st dc) dc 1ch picot 1ch 2dc in
