Drywall & Acoustical Ceiling Scope Letter
1. This will be an open remodel with all work done at night, 6 nights/week, with daily cleanup.
2. This project has an 8-week schedule.
3. This scope of work is to be performed with the carpentry, ceiling, drywall, and demo scopes as
one contract. Assume 3-4 carpenters will be needed for the duration of the project.
4. Parkway Construction is the GC on this project. Construction is scheduled to start October 24,
2022.
5. Interior scissor lift supplied by GC.
6. Demolition is done in phases to allow for build back in an operating restaurant.

Drywall
a. New framed walls in showroom for new video wall. 16-gauge studs are required for the
wall and platform framing. FT plywood is required for the top of the platform.
b. Replace sheetrock/cement board in the restrooms for new wall tile.
c. Replace sheetrock where show/stage was demoed.
d. New framed walls at old stage location for new video wall. 16-gauge studs are required
for the half wall and platform framing. FT plywood is required for the platform.
e. Digital menu boards are existing. No sheetrock patching at menu boards.
f. Provide backing and hang Video Promo Board, See A5.0.
g. Sheetrock patching for new wall outlets in existing walls. See A1.2 for wall outlet
locations. Patching is for opening required for running electrical for the new wall
outlets.

Acoustical Ceilings: All ceiling tiles will be owner provided. Any new grid is the responsibility of the
ceiling contractor.
h. Some rework of acoustical ceiling grid will be required at demoed show. Ceiling grid to
be supplied by subcontractor.
i. Install salvaged ceiling tiles to replace damaged or mismatched ceiling tiles in public
areas of the restaurant.
j. Replace painted, damaged, or mismatched ceiling tiles. We will provide 2,000 Sqft of
new ceiling tiles for change out.
k. Replace damaged ceiling tile in restroom. We will provide 64 sqft of new ceiling tile.
