Differentiate each of the following pairs by EXPLAINING the meaning of each. (5 Points each)

1. Educational Objective and Learning Outcomes


 Educational objectives involves the course or subject’s goal that they want to
achieve or accomplish. While the learning outcomes describes the knowledge
and skills that student should acquire upon the completion of learning
experience.

2. Immediate Outcomes and Deferred Outcomes


 Immediate outcomes refers to the skills that student acquire upon the
completion of the subject. While deferred outcomes refers to the ability of an
individual to apply their knowledge, skills, and attitudes in their work[place.

3. Program Outcome and Course Outcome


 Program outcomes deals with the explanation of how to accomplish the goals of
the given program and it involves the statements of what students are expected
to do, learn, and develop upon the completion of it. While course outcomes
specifies the expectations of the instructor for the course.
4. Institutional Outcome and Program Outcome
 Institutional outcomes provides the statements of what graduates of an
educational institution are supposed to do beyond graduation. While program
outcomes deals with what graduates of a particular fields are able to do at the
completion of the program.

5. Student-Centered Instruction and Content-Centered Instruction


 Student- Centered Instruction is a teaching style that focusing on teaching
students. It is a two way learning where teachers and students serves as partners
in learning. While Content –Centered Instruction attempts to meet students’
needs in both content and language.
