MODULE OBJECTIVE:
By the end of this Module, you will be able to describe what this course is about
and how it will help you manage the teaching-learning process in the modalities.

Activity 1
Read the LDM Course Overview. Reflect on the overview by answering the following
questions.

1. What is the Main delivery of this course?

Ans: The Learning Delivery Modalities Course 2 is a task-oriented course. The


delivery of this course is in line with the implementation of the Enhanced Basic
Education Act of 2013. The main concern of this course is to support the
continuing professional development of its teaching personnel based on the
principle of lifelong learning and commitment to the development of teachers’
potential aimed towards their success in the profession.

2. How can this course help ensure that you will be able to deliver quality
instruction in the new normal?

Ans: Given the current situation of our country due to the pandemic and as our
educational system is doing its best to adjust in providing alternative ways for
learners to access quality education, this course will help us in ensuring that
learning continues while guaranteeing the healthy, safety, and well being of all
learners and teachers as well.

3. What are the two support mechanism that will help you with your learning in this
course?

Ans: The support mechanism that will help me in leaning this course are as
follow:
1. To attend and participate in webinars sponsored by DepEd.
2. Through asking questions and constant communication with my co-teachers,
grade leader, and immediate superiors regarding with this course.
Activity 2
1. How will my personal characteristics and circumstances affect (positively or
negatively) my participation in this course?

Ans: Being a new teacher in the DepEd everything is new to me. My willingness
to learn and to adapt will the new normal education, as well as my eagerness to
be a better teacher for my students, will help with my participation in this course.
2. How can I ensure that I am able to sustain my strengths and address the
obstacles that will hinder me from completing this course?

Ans: Learning to accept challenges, my willingness to learn and with the help of
my co-teachers and superiors. I can overcome any obstacles that will hinder me
from completing this course.

Activity 1
1. Reflect on the objectives for conducting LAC sessions as listed in DO 35, s.
2016. Rank the following objectives from easiest to the most difficult to achieve.

content and pedagogical knowledge, practice, skills, and attitudes.

teachers, and the community as a whole.

2. What are the top three challenges to having a successful LAC? List down and
elaborate.

1. Proper Schedule of LAC- It will be best if the schedule for the sessions do not
conflict with the other tasks and schedules of the teachers.
2. Internet connection- poor internet connection is one of the challenges and a
variable we can’t predict.
3. Background noise- when the speakers background is noisy and when the
attendees background is causing to much noise that you can’t concentrate in
the sessions.
Activity 2
Share your LAC Insights.

Knowing the LAC sessions is created to help the continuing professional development
of its teaching personnel, especially in times of the new normal where there is a lot of
changes and challenges that the learners and the teachers are facing. It makes me feel
secured and confident in teaching in the new educational system because I know
through this course, I will learn a lot and improve my teaching knowledge, skills, and
attitudes towards our new educational system.
