before I tell you what I did during the COVID-19 pandemic last year, it's good that we know
what the Covid 19 pandemic is currently happening

Coronavirus disease 2019, abbreviated as COVID-19, is an infectious disease caused by SARS-

CoV-2, a type of coronavirus. Even this corona virus infection was first discovered in the city of
Wuhan, China at the end of 2019. This virus also spreads very quickly to almost all countries in
the world, including to the country we love very much, namely Indonesia. For the first time, the
government announced two positive cases in Indonesia on March 2, 2020. The first case in West
Sumatra also occurred in Bukittinggi, which is the city where I live

at that time I was still in 12th grade high school, then the government announced to do distance
learning for 2 weeks to anticipate the spread of this corona virus, which should have been in the
second week we had to do a national exam but the national exam in that year was abolished and
in the end we were known as the corona force, and now I am in college, namely Andalas
University.

In the early days of large-scale social restrictions, mothers prepared all the necessities needed for
quarantine, starting from buying foodstuffs and cleaning tools such as hand sanitizers for the
next few weeks. during a pandemic and social distancing is required, I only do online lectures, in
the morning I bask in the sun to anticipate this corona virus.

but in early November my mother tested positive for Covid 19 and the next day my family and I
were required to do a swab test to find out whether Covid 19 also attacked the family, and yes it
turns out that my family and I tested positive for Covid 19. for one month we had to do self-
isolation at home, had to do a swab test twice a week and had to take drugs and vitamins that had
been given by the doctor and it was very tiring. Thankfully, in early December my family and I
were declared cured of Covid 19 and this incident became a memorable event for me in 2020.

at the end of 2020 for the first time I visited the Andalas university campus to take an alma mater
jacket and at that time I met fellow majors who had never met before.

and early 2021 things started to improve a little bit and the government said there was a new
normal in people's lives but they must still follow health protocols
