Crime is as old as earth itself. Evil lives within all living creatures, even if it is a very small percentage. With time going by, a whole new variety of crimes have appeared, or at least their inclusion in our vocabulary, and therefore, in our society. Since the very beginning, crime has been attached to the lower social classes, not exclusively, but the rates are much higher. The reason is very clear: To lives, resources are necessary, and due to the capitalist system, money is mandatory. Whoever finds himself in a situation of poverty, requires that money in an alternative way, and many times, robbery is the easiest way. The first text ignores any kind of social differentiation, or any kind of social problem at all, just merely referring to them as “not important”. This shows not only how delusional that community must be, but how different preferences are depending on who one might ask, as said quite clearly at the end of this text. The second text is quite the opposite case. Instead of ignoring crime, it is the main focus, treating with as much importance as it should deserve, even warning about it and giving the point of view of the population, worried. As a juxtaposition to the first text, it prosecutes the practice named in it, by deliberately not paying attention to it. It may be true that nowadays, crime may not be as big as a deal as it may be a couple of hundred years ago, but it still is a thing, and it should not be looked at in any other different way apart from respect.
