Argument Building

Argument Structure :
A : Assertion is a claim or statement that needs
to be proven or explained.
R : Reason is the act of proving an assertion by
explaining, describing, and elaborating.
E : Evidence are facts, information, or Debating Skills - introduction
observations presented in support of an
assertion.
Impact A debate is a discussion of a theme or questions
At the end of the argument, you should explain
why that argument is important in the debate. between two or more interlocutors.
Conclusion In a formal debate, the theme or question is called a
motion. The motion is usually controversial and has no
clear or correct answer.

Step Structure of Debate


1. Debate place overview

2. Main Argument each Team ( A&B ) have 3 minutes


3. Rebuttal each team have 2 minutes
4. Cross Examination each team have 3 minutes
5. Final Statement each team have 2 minutes
6. Q & A either Team from audience 3 minutes
7. Total 23 mins
