Introduction

In this time of pandemic there are so many problems that we are facing until now like
losing jobs, closing of other businesses, and locking down in our own houses; despite of those
negativity there is one great opportunity has been arise.
Did you know online selling? What a great opportunity is waving when you start a
business online? Online selling is any kind of business activity that happen over the internet
running an online service. As online shopping has grown, so too has the number of people who
make of money selling product online. Online seller can sell just about anything. Some, like
Ukay- ukay or create product to themselves. Others sell new merchandise, antiques, or used
items, liked imported t-shirts, imported bags, and latest cellphone and so on…
Starting an online selling can be as simple as having something to sell and access to
internet. But there are a lot of factors to consider if you’re going to have an online selling that
thrives. One is to have confidence in what are you selling, especially early on. “You really have
to believe in what you’re doing. Because it’s twisty and bumpy road at times. But despite of
online selling we are facing lots of problems or problems like scammers and bogus buyers;
However, we can avoid them by meeting someone in person and not selling anything until the
funds are physically in our accounts. But still despite all the problems online selling is still a
huge opportunity because most of the people have lost their own jobs and some of businesses
are closed down due to the pandemic so online selling is a huge help especially to the
unemployed workers.

Objectives of the study


The main objective of the research is to be able to inform people who lives in Municipality of
Mariveles area that there is a great opportunity in online selling in this time of pandemic.

 To produce strategies to attract buyer’s despite of having many competitors.


 To be able to inform others on how to avoid scams and bogus buyers.
 To identify the grate opportunities of online selling in this time of pandemic.
METHODOLOGY

This chapter discusses the research methodology used in the study. This chapter will cover all
aspects concerning the overall data in the research. This includes the research design, the
responders of the study, and the sampling techniques used to collect data it also includes the
validated research instruments given to the responders, the data collecting procedure, and the
statistical treatment used to determine the main factor of The Convenience of online selling in
this time of pandemic.
RESEARCH DESIGN

This section aims to discuss the kind of research design the research used in this study. The
research used the descriptive design, which concerns gathering data from a small number of
responders. A descriptive design of research concerns data gathering from a specific population
which is neither manipulate nor experiment on. It was selected by the researches because the
study comprises of a small number of responders, and only required comprises data from the
respondents who can suggest interventions which can further resolve the common issue of
bogus buyer and scams on online selling. In addition, we will show the opportunities and
strategies that we gathered from our respondents.

SAMPLING AND POPULATION


The research will use non-probability convenience sampling since I’m only limited to the online
buyers. Convenience sampling is conveniently selecting the sample that fits the description of
the desire respondents. The research selected the buyers on online selling
We gathered fifty participants in Mariveles particularly in different area like 10 persons in Ipag,
10 persons in San Isidro, 10 persons in Malaya, 10 persons in Sisiman, and persons in Camaya.
They are all online sellers in this time of pandemic.

Data Gatherings
In this time of pandemic, the researcher questions the online seller in the different parts of
Mariveles about Bogus Buyer and Scams, Opportunities, and Strategies.

Conclusions
In this this shows that most of online sellers used strategies when they are selling online. But 5
of the respondents in every Barangays has a same strategy. They say that lower price attracts
buyers, and some of the sellers wear their products to show to those online buyers that the
product is good quality, and took a picture to prove that the product is high quality and
feedback.
Based on the table some of the online seller experienced bogus buyers and scams, they
experienced same modus like buying products without showing on the day of meetup, they will
order many products and cancelled it from the day that the product will arrive. To avoid it they
required advanced payment or you need to fully paid the product you ordered before having it.
42 out of 50 respondents says that there is a lot of opportunity in online selling as well as it
helps them during the time of pandemic. As I said in introduction some of the businesses are
closed down due to the pandemic that’s why online selling is a great opportunity to help our
family to provide their foods and their necessary needs.

TIMELINE

Day 1-2 Preparation of Research Marketing Proposal


Day 3 Typing of outline marketing cover and drafting of introduction.

Day 4 Thinking of objectives that will suit to my research marketing proposal.

Day 5-7 Doing methodology, Research design and question for my survey.

Day 8-9 Conducting a survey through messenger and analyzing the final data that I
gathered.
Day 10 Typing and final retouch to my research marketing proposal.
