No, it is more or less the same, but it is much more humid and you get incredible thunderstorms. Also, the
winter in Costa Rica, at least by their coastline, is warmer than a Spanish winter.

It's a big coffee exporter, but one of its main products are pineapples. You can see plantations
everywhere.

What activities did you do while you were there?

Well, there are plenty of sports and activities to choose from. I went whitewater rafting down a river,
climbing up the side of a volcano, horse riding through the countryside and zip lining through the jungle. I
like the whitewater rafting more than the horse riding, but I think the zip lining was the most fun.

What was the scariest?

Strangely, the climbing up the volcano was the most frightening. I kept thinking the scientist may have
made a mistake and it was not safe to climb.

Yes, I went to the Pacific Coast. In fact, my most emotional moment was when I saw a sperm whale and
its baby. It was even better than seeing that leopard in Africa.

I saw turtles and sea snakes, but the most common sighting was of the dolphins. They are really the most
entertaining animal.
